From Saturday Junior had the sausage and mash with extra peas and even HE finished his meal, with a massive thumbs up after (before acting the post-dinner wally and getting his leg stuck between the Chesterfield seats somehow). I had soup of the day followed by roast lamb, and the lamb was thick and generously piled on, with an enormous fluffy Yorkshire and enough gravy to keep everything just the right side of moist. The food was exceptional for the price too. We got asked once (the correct number of times) how everything was, and we weren't interrupted in order to be asked the question many (MANY) restaurants could and should learn from that.
